here is the update folks!!!
the first issue was the upgraded manifolds i bought from now closed triumphperformanceusa.com, on both bike, the cheap rubber boots had split and probably sucked in water. really sad that they got away with ripping people off; but i had contacted them about new boots and Carlos Schmidt swore up and down i would get thicker new boots, never got them, and of the rest is history. the bad this is, the improved vortex really does increase preformance; but obviously the rubber is crap. the second issue was relegated strictly to the t-100. the bike was bought used, and maybe lived outside a good bit, anyway, it had rust in the tank, as in the gas was orange and thick, and the main petcock filter was GONE as in missing and the reserve screen was 80% clogged. so that accounts for the slop in my bowels. thanks for all the input gents, lets hope this issue is put to bed...anyone know where i can get custom manifold boots made?
