There is usually an underlying reason that these kind of problems come on. Never did it before, now it does, phenomenon. Such as what failure of a regular routine of a healthy motor would/could cause or leak of a vacuum source that draws water in now. Or even has increased the vacuum past specs. B171doc comes to mind, the deeper he dug, the more problems he found. A faulty part can cause premature failures in all directions of a machine. Seen it, lived it, got stuck fixing it.
