Methinks the water isn't getting in through the filters so much then. The vent hose may be picking up water, find the end and razor knife it at a 45 degree or greater angle or you bought some crappy gas (it happens), would be where I would be looking into. Maybe even the tank cap, is it stock or aftermarket vented?
