So we have a gathering of bikes at a Resturant / Bar every wed nite and last night a new face showed up riding a new factory Triumph Bobber . First one I've seen being we no longer have a dealership nearby . Kid was telling me he also owns a Thruxton got to look that bobber over pretty good and had a conversation with the owner . He told me bike handles very well ( as a Triumph should) and is very happy . The exhaust sounded pretty good for being stock and he told me as soon as someone comes up with something better he will be buying . He did say some co in Cali is working on it ? All in all I liked everything about it . He had already put short fender on front and changed the seat also added some factory goodies mostly labeling stuff . Really glad he showed up so I could finally get a good look at this bike. Told him about the site and fast Eddie so looking forward to seeing him posting here and spending time talking about Triumphs on wed nights . There are so few of us here almost all bike nighters are riding V-Twins of course lol

Saw one Saturday while running to the hardware store and pulled in to the diner to get a close look. Very nice bike, well done.

My local dealer had one on the floor last month when I stopped in. Looked it over and had a seat. While it's not really for me, I do need to haul stuff, it looked very good. The seating position and pegs seemed rather good for the couple of minutes I was on it. I liked it, the adjustable seat position and tilting speedo seemed like a great idea.

I saw one in the flesh a bout 3 weeks ago at the local dealer.I thought it was ok.as you say pretty well done. The small tank wouldn't allow much range I guess but that's not what it's for. as Matty Mo says while not for me it did look good.felt ok sitting on it too.

This guy said that too about the range on a tank . More like sportster range lol but like I said , I don't see it as a bike you travel on , it's a bobber !!! Bobbers tend to be around town 100 miles maybe a day kinda bike ? I was also thinking a bigger tank from a fuel injected America or Speedmaster probably fits so if someone wanted to travel some distance once in awhile ? Swap out the tank maybe ?

One of my old school friends order a Bobber, and received it about a month ago. He stopped by my place, so I could check it out. I mentioned swapping on a new Bonneville tank for extra mileage. He said he read that someone tried to do that, and the tunnel needed to be expanded a little to fit the extra wiring on the Bobber.

I think the tank is just about right for a Bobber. The bike is pretty small so it is not designed to travel, about perfect for bobbin around town.

So, this is what I did to my wife while I was in Ottawa at the dealers. They just received 2 bobbers from another dealer after selling their complete allotment of 12. I told my wife I would be buying some accessories. Sent her the picture with the sold sign..... Of course it was a JOKE but I wish.....
