Ok, I'll give you that one. I've often thought that was ridiculous.
But then again, why worry? When the oil gets low, there's a convenient little light on the dash to tell you.

Jeez, even HD have finally got around to marking up their dipsticks to take account of the bike being on its ' Jiffy' stand.
Mind you, I only worry ' cos I once had a seizure on a Harley when the oil pump er, fell off.
