Check these Emgo cheapie eBay specials out. Simple 16-inch tapered slip-on stubbies. Non removable directional baffle. These things fit the lines of the original exhaust headers like a glove. They almost look factory. Less than 40 bucks apiece. Buy 'em all day long on eBay. Just do a search for Emgo mufflers. The cool stamped raised ribs around the body of the mufflers matches my chrome finned sprocket cover theme too. How cool is that? And, for the best part.... The sound. These babies have a real meaty burbley idle with just the right amount of popping interspersed for a delightful melody of British twin music. Way, way better idle sound and volume than any set of TOR's you can come up with. And the best part? When you juice it a bit it sounds like a cross between a hot rodded small block Chevy with Borla exhausts and a vintage British TT racing bike. And the downshifting burble and occasional pop is simply to die for. Meaty as hell. Too cool for school. No raspy barky sound or tinny hollow tube sound out of these bad boys. Just thick and meaty music. And when you really hammer it the H-D boys will be in envy over your bold brash British iron I'm here ta tell ya. The over all volume is perfect for getting noticed by anyone on the road and sure to make the bystanders reel around in surprise, but it's by no means the loudest thing you've ever heard. Sure to please the most jaded name-brand aftermarket pipe user. So, go ahead and save yourself several hundred pesos, and get the sound and volume you're after to boot. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
