Get yourself some circlip pliers and remove the righthand wheel adjustment bracket before you put wheel back on. Get the the left hand side fittings all aligned, put the spindle through the frame and the wheel and into the spacer, then slip the wheel adjuster back into place. It might only be a couple of mm's but it is amazing how much difference that makes (as the actress said to the bishop!!)
