I recently installed the TTP firestarter ( stage 1) / TTP safestart about 1000 miles ago, and I must say, I'm impressed. The igniter has no problematic starting issues, and the performance is awesome. My only regret is that I did'nt do this upgrade sooner. Do yourself a favor, buy a TTP firestarter, or let them remap your existing one, you will not be sorry. The TTP safestart is a must if you have the early style crankcase & love your bike as much as I love mine. Feel free to ask questions.
