Hello
@012 Bonnie SE. ECU tunes in UK for arrow 2/2, K&N air filter. Air pipes removes and TO dominator exhaust.
So When Hot.Sometimes the engine hesitates to turn over.
Let off starter, try again and alls well. this only happense once in a while
Acts like to much compression?
Is this a normal occurrence on a Bonnie or is it a warning of weak battery?
Battery is 3 years old and on Tender thru winter

Just as likely a bad connection. Get your battery load tested and you can find or eliminate that possibility. Then you can go from there. I'm betting on a weak connection or a faulty ground, maybe even the solenoid or a relay going south. Electronic suppliers have inexpensive tools for cleaning up male and female plugs if it comes to that. De-ox grease is a must, if you live in a rainy, humid climate, use it on everything electrical you take apart, even you car battery terminals.
