when you take them out, make sure you mark them (right/left) and their mating plugs in the event you want to put them back. There is even a conveniently provided spot behind the steering head to stow the remaining sensor wires.

you will need to turn off the O2 sensors in the ECU as well or it will cause a check engine light to be on.
