If Lucas was alive you wouldn't have those issues, I always ran stock Lucas electric (and still do) on my old bikes and never had an issue caused by a Lucas componant. The harness sucked in them but I always ran my own. Lucas magnitos run forever, I have some from the 50s that are still going on the bike they came on. What madern ignition can claim that kind of longevity?
