I put tons of miles on my 66 TR6C with no issues for the most part, simple stuff like points. Top end every 40,000 or so, bottom end lasted over 100,000. I bet with todays synthetic oils you could get those top ends to go much longer. You have to use your head with them too, I ran an oil cooler and later started to run an external filter.
