Yes HD and the Brit.bikes had their troubles in the 70s.The Japanese had it all over them in reliability but although the Jap engines were bullet proof they didn't handle in those days.Koni rear shocks,steering dampers,drop or straight handlebars, and Dunlop tires were what the "boy racers" all went for back then.
