I wear a full face helmet when it's cold out. It fits well and the screen or the entire front can be flipped up, which is conveeenient, but I can't wait till it warms up so I can wear my shorty.
Even though the padding inside fits around my dainty, shell-like ears, it is so damm loud inside I can't hardly hear myself sing. That may be a good thing, but the constant amplified exhaust sound and engine noise is irritating.
With the shorty helmet (and a Windvest w/s) there is hardly any wind noise and the exhaust sounds low and away - much more enjoyable.
