Some years ago I had a 1979 Series III 88" SWB Landy.
Shortly after buying it the head gasket went and a mechanic friend changed it in about 1/2hr outside his workshop.
Imagine doing that job on a modern car in a day? It would take 1/2hr to even get to see the engine!!
The price of parts for them are cheap as chips too.
