He knows, I have another friend who rides and old scout and chief depending on the day, also both all original. The scout is pretty rust, can hardly see the paint anymore. Another friend rides a 20s HD with exposed valve train, you can watch the pushrods and rockers go while running. And still another friend rides a 36 knuckle and my best friend at the time (he moved away) rode a stock 50 panhead EL.
I am not sure his is a 41 but it isn't rusty or dented, just faded and paint worn in a few places, he takes very good care of it. It's a matching numbers bike too.
