Ok I've searched through here about installing a batwing fairing onto a America. But haven't actually found one that someone actually put one on successfully. I've found some on ebay for a decent price and with measurements. The common thing I found on my search is that Memphis Shade has the attachments I can use. Has anyone actually put a batwing fairing onto their bike? I've seen the pics of them on a America so I know it's possible. I would like to know how you did it and to make sure I get the right parts so I don't waste money when I don't have too.

What year is the bike, if it has tapered shrouds you need to remove them. Measure the circumference. I believe the fairing for a Honda Shadow will work. Jump on the Honda forums and see if those guys can provide measurements. Headlight, bar width etc

The bike is a 2004 and it doesn't have the tapered shrouds. I have a friend that has a batwing on his VTX so I can get them from him Thank you mikemm03.

Some of my remaining grey cells say there was a green one on here a few years back. Whose, I don't recall.

Anyone know what size the top forks are with shrouds on the early models? Does 52 mm sound correct, that's what my foggy brain seems to recall.
