Earlier today I heard one of the radio weather guessers say we were on the receiving end of a Canadian Cold Front. Hey Canadians, keep those things, we don't need them.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

We pay you for the raw materials. I think we need a rebate for taking the cold weather off your hands.

No no, that's ok. You really don't need to.

Tomorrows high 9 degrees. I guess I should say I am sorry to my Canadians comrades. It could be worse. If I wanted to be warm I could move to Texas, but, never mind.

-26C (-14.8F) this morning in a bright and sunny nations capital. You want some of this? Thankyou for electronic fuel injection my old car resisted for a few moments then banged into life although initially it sounded like a diesel.

Supposed to be 4F here tomorrow, or 257.59K. That's about -15 or 16C. Guess they are trying to 'acclimatize' those who are leaving because they didn't get their way last month.

After all the caterwauling it doesn't seem that any are leaving. Not until spring at least.

Here in Toronto the weathermen keep blaming Colorado. Maybe because of the High?

Went to 30F here yesterday early. We almost called it a disaster! But, gonna be 54 today so we may survive. It will be touch and go for a while until it gets back up to 70F on Saturday and Sunday.

I am never moving back to the north. Warm will spoil you.

Every year in late January or early February I wonder why I moved back from San Diego in 1987. Of course, the rest of the year I consider what it costs me to live here.

Yep, you pay a lot of money for that ambient 71 degree city. A lot of money. My house in San Antonio cost 25% of what it would be in San Diego.
