I can still remember when they first came out.We were told all kinds of bull,such as,They seldom if ever needed cleaning.If they hit you in the arm they'd take it off due to the high velocity and bullet tumble.Like Ian,back in the days we were trusted to own semi auto rifles[I'm still pissed off at John Howard],I never had a SKS or AK variant jam .
