Triumph can't (or will not) disable the limiter. But there is a modified 20516 map without the speed limiter available. You would need to use the TuneECU program and a specific USB to OBDII cable to load it. The program can be a good tool to have even if you don't need or want to replace a fuel map/tune in the ECU.
edit: for the later models without the mechanical drive speedo there is a speedometer correction factor that can be adjusted for a more accurate speedo
