I do believe that I have my flickr web address listed correctly. This pertains to a recent posting in Member's ride's entitled pics of a 2004 America (Estella). Can somebody please look up this post & let me know if the link I posted works ok. It works on my pc just fine. Many thanks in advance.

Your link takes me to the Yahoo login page. You need to glean and copy the "image code" from your downloaded Flickr pics and enter them individually in the drop down box on the post composing page. Sorry, I'm not the guy to explain tech stuff, but this has been covered many times. Research the archives in this "Forum Help" subject section, it's all there and explained 6 ways to Sunday. You may find Photobucket easier to manipulate, what I use, but I have no experience with Flickr, so a grain of Salt is indicated here.

In general web hosted pictures will have an address. However when sharing a web hosted picture you need to tell the link that it is an image. You do that my adding after the address (with no spaces). For example this is a hosted image of the bobber from another site, I right click the image on that site, copy image URL, paste the address in the thread and manually type after...and like magic the hosted image is linked. Some sites do this for you when you copy the image link. Worth noting it is just a link to an image...if the image is altered (under the same name) or moves, the link changes or is broken. Also worthwhile selecting the option to preview posts as you get to see what going to be displayed before submitting

Yesterday when I clicked it it wanted me to join Flickr before I could see it. The link I think was the member link not the outside link.
Maybe flickr has a right mouse function to view in separate window. That may give you the proper outside url to use with the img and /img codes.
Have faith, we all have suffered the same thing until we get it down. Then it gets easy. The old saying "Its easy when you know how.".
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

If you check preview when you post, on that page you will see a box labled UBB Code, in that box click image and paste the location of the picture in there. The image location has to end in JPG or JPEG. You are also taken to that page if you click edit after posting.
