Kevin - I avoid the freeways whenever possible, but I-10 between Phx and Tucson I have never done on the bike. I find other ways around, like thru Florence. I hate that stretch of road in 4 wheels.
I have done sections of I-40 and regularly do I-17, but they do not have nearly the amount of traffic.
