I'm sure there's stuff on the site somewhere but I'm not savvy enough to find it.
I'll need some less restrictive silencers for my newly bought 014 TBA LT.
I'm too mean to pay shop prices and want an ebay bargain.
Is there any reason why I can't use TORs from a carb bike in my EFI machine?
Obviously it'll need a remap... but I can't otherwise think why not.
Thanks for your thoughts folks.
Al

As long as it's mapped right I see no reason.

I am running TORS off an 04 on my 13 TBA. I put almost 4k miles on them before I had her remapped. She ran great with no back fire. I finally got her to the nearest dealer over 100 miles away and put a new map in. I swear she ran better with the stock map and now I have popping on decel. I would still like to hear from anyone that has had any luck with a tune from TuneECU with the speed limiter bypassed.

Thanks both for your responses. These also answer another question I had....the specialist who's going to play with the ecu to remove the speed limiter and check engine warnings is 150 miles away...sounds like I should fit the tors and make the trip as is without worrying about engine damage.

You should be OK.I kept a close eye on mine, pulled plugs periodically to check them. All was fine and she ran great. Like I said, I believe she was better off with the original tune. Please let me know what you find with the speed limiter.

Thanks,Mark
I'm reckoning on sorting it all out mid December. I'm taking it to Belgium for a rally on 1st December and don't want to mess with it till that's done.
