I think a BIG stubling block will be the fact they are made in India and not an English bike anymore. Even if manufactured in England still an Indian owned company.

It's not a BIG stumbling block at all, the new Enfield I had earlier this year was decent enough.
Certainly no worse than a Triumph whether built in the UK or anywhere else in the world.

.

If it's not a stumbling block then why is a company in India (Mahindra) buying a legendary British motorcycle brand name to use on a new motorcycle to be built in India? The same reason they bought the Royal Enfield name.

The obvious answer is because manufacturers in India have no heritage or reputation of building quality motorcycles so they're going to buy a known brand name for a little marketing credibility. And it worked! Using the BSA name got the attention of people on this board who remember REAL BSAs. When was the last time Bajaj which is the second largest manufacturer of motorcycles in India was a headline on this board?

See the point, they are not real BSAs
