Among the people I know none of them would buy a new Triumph no longer made in England or an Enfield made in India, especially the latter with the quality issues and small displacement. If the BSA has the same quality issues then same thing. I think it will be tough, especially at first since the quality issues at Enfield will cast a shadow on them at first. I would probably have an Enfield in my collection if I could find a used one for a few hundred bucks. Wouldn't spend any more than that on one though. If they made a big twin and the quality wasn't as bad I might consider spending a little more. I care where the Triumphs are made since I have been riding them most of my life and feel the same about BSA and Enfield but not a deal breaker for the latter.Triumph I care more about given the history and continued production, BSA and Enfield have lost that now.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!
