Amen to that, this same little department arrested a woman a few weeks ago who tried to commit 'suicide by cop', fortunately for All Concerned her pistol jammed and the cops withheld firing.

I've only received 1 speeding ticket (1977, knock on wood), it was on a long downhill doing something like 69 in a 65 zone. I was actually on my way into Madison attending a law enforcement academy. The topic that day was radar and I remember that particular instructor recommending against radar on long hills. There's irony in there somewhere.

In most of our small towns, main street doubles as the state highway and sometimes traffic blows in at a good rate. Like you, if it says 35, I go 35. And never, never (speed) in a posted school zone!! Some of these burgs do develop a reputation however, so as always it's buyer beware.
