Thanks Ron.I guess like Billy said, ride it like a 4 speed with overdrive.I do most of my running at 65-70 mph[110-120kph] with occasional higher bursts of speed to about 90[140kph],but only 60mph[The 100kph speed limit] if the cops are hot.How does your 19T go at those speeds?Do you use 5th gear?If not I may not have use for 5th much.

Its not a problem at all. 60+MPH 100KPH you just cruise in the 3000s range. If you are going to gently pass no need to shift down just twist it. To pass aggressively kick it down to 4th for a burst up into the 5500s range and you are past.

I ran a 19t all over the mountains in Arizona a few times with Dwight. Went up down and around just fine too. It is just a matter of acclimation. I love taller gears and no looking for 6th. I see no downside to it other than hole shot from a red light or drag racing.

A few bucks and a 30 minute change of primary gear gets it done. 30 minutes includes the beer break.

Remove primary cover
Break rear wheel loose
Loosen chain about 8 turns
Pull the gear, need a big socket
Install big gear, need a torque wrench
Twist chain/wheel back.
Secure wheel
Put primary back on.

Go riding.

Psst, don't pinch neutral safety wire in the primary cover.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.
