I can't answer for the Speedmaster, but on my 13 America the limiter kicks in at 97-98 mph at less than 6k rpm. I have been able to touch the ton briefly in 4th gear before the speed limiter kicks in. It is not the rev limiter that prevents this. She will run at 90 mph around 5200 rpm and is happy to do so. I usually don't ride this fast but if I am on an open road with no traffic I will let her breathe every now and then.
