On one of my runs down to Phoenix the other day with this little part-time shuttle driver gig I've had for a couple years now, I counted 7 of 'em in 4 separate sightings. And, I think the last Triumph I saw on the streets and highways around here must have been at least two weeks ago or so, and it was a lone rider astride a Bonneville of perhaps a 2005 model year.

And so, I wonder what the present sales figures might be of these two "heritage brand" of motorcycles?

(...I'm talking about the USA sales figures here that is, as I'm fairly sure Triumph's worldwide figures would surpass those of the recently revived Indian brand)



Triumph and Polaris/Victory/Indian have never been forthcoming with exact production numbers.

That being said, I would guess that Indian is selling at least 15,000 machines a year already in the US. I see them on a very regular/daily basis.
