Hey Jim - glad to hear that it wasn't as bad as they were predicting.
As to my "leaning into the wind" - well you have to make the most of the opportunities don't you?? As you know, I was determined to experience a hurricane if I could, even to the extent of hurrying down to Florida in 2003 only for the storm to pass me by going north!! The strongest winds we have in the UK only get up to 90mph so if I had to do it in the US. (Mind you I did draw the line at staying in my tent after a tornado warning had been issued in Michigan!!)
