Razor blade or credit card sanded sharp. Polish as mentioned, however with steel wool you may induce dissimilar metal corrosion. Even though ppl have been using 0000 Steel wool for decades,,,that don't really make it right. My go to for polish is S100 total finish restore. Use some micro fiber rags that are not all junked up, even terry towles. terry first and then microfiber as final,(an I can get way more involved if you want to hear it PM me
