One of the guys who taught the Motocycle Safety Course that I completed was an ex-police officer (maybe they all are). In an admission of an abuse of power (although he thought it was merely funny) he said he once booked a guy for "possession of an opened container" because he was using a flattened beer can to side-stand his bike. Apparently, the biker was being a little to "vocal" with him so he busted him.

So beware those flattened beer cans, dudes and dudettes - or just don't P-off officers of the law!
