We refer to those as "Heel Pegs". Custom fabricated mounting brackets with custom designed , fabricated, and polished pegs for the bike. They serve as an extra place for your heels, are independant of the foot pegs, and serve the same function as a floorboard. Quite comfortable in use. Being 3/16" aluminum they weigh almost nothing, and fold up when needed. We've got them on both bikes now.
