The main drawbacks to having a horse would be that you need quite a lot of space for them, they need constant care and feeding and that there are very few times or places where taking the horse make sense. They are often quite pretty, and likely a lot of fun, but are considerably less practical than a motorcycle.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
