I will turn 60 years old this August. Already seems I get tired more easily, riding or doing the honey list.
Any advice? I do usually take brakes every 100 miles or so. Also at a younger age I never imagined turning 60. The big thing growing up in the 70's was the year 2000. I hope I can ride for at least another 10 years. I would like to get my dream ride Triumph Thunder Bird. Wife NO WAY!!!!!
Ride safe and live long!!!

Stay active & aware, plan for others poor choices and don't get in a hurry. Enjoy as much of life as you can.
That's all I can offer as I am several years behind you, turned 56 earlier this month.
We made it past the Y2K so long ago I had all but forgot about it. But I do remember my aches & pains most mornings when getting out of bed. Amazing how they fade into the background as the day goes on. At least until I need to bend over, move something bulky/heavy, stand too long or sit too long

I turned 61 this year and still going strong. The best thing I did was to get rid of my TV programming. Don't sit in front of that damn thing and fade away.

#1 I got rid of all TV programming in my life in 1999, never regretted it, not even once.

Retire early!

I did ALL my long distance trips in my 60's once I retired and had the time.

I for sure feel like I've slowed down steadily and get less done overall but since I'm not sharing my time with an employer now I get a lot more of MY stuff done.

I'll be 65 at Xmas. To stay young I just don't date women over 50. It's a regime that works, but I'm single.

Inching closer, 59 in a few months. I'm still doing 400 mile days trips without MUCH trouble, though I can feel it a little. My grandfather rode until his early 70s, and I plan on doing the same. At least, I'm gonna PLAN on doing that!

Retire early!

I retired at age 58 and since have been on a crusade to correct the way people have their toilet paper coming off the roll. If I find it rolling over the top I correct it so that when I leave it is correctly rolling off from the bottom.

Bruce I suffered from the same affliction, well till I my shrink actually showed me the patent diagrams for the toilet paper roller. It goes over the top.

I just sit mine on the floor so you can do it over or under. But that's just how I roll around here.

If you only hit your brakes every 100 miles or so, that will certainly keep you young. Sorta.

Like that line from Shawshank redemption "get busy living or get busy dying" your choice. 60 is just a number which I passed 4 and 7/12ths years ago.

Roll over for adults roll under if there are kids around was sage advise from my mother. I guess I must have wasted a roll or two when young.

Easy boys... let's not get excited here, somebody might break a hip.
Geezage is rampant apparently... I'm closing far too rapidly on 60 myself.

Went to look round a bike shop yesterday.
I was in the bike-themed café next door and was supping my coffee talking to an old fella I'd seen in the bike shop.
He was a proper laugh
I'd have put him at maybe 70.
Then he tells me he's 80.
Then he let slip during our chat he'd been in the bike shop next door to buy a Motto Guzzi Griso 1200 ffs!!
In the café window was a muddy dirt bike.
He said he had one exactly the same and up until 4yrs ago it used to look equally as muddy after a ride.
Fair play

I'm 62, will be 63 in September. Yep, slowing down a bit but I keep at least one bike build going in the garage at all times. Don't ride much distance but I ride often. I even broke down and built a Trike last winter so my wife will ride with me again.
