I retired at age 58 and since have been on a crusade to correct the way people have their toilet paper coming off the roll. If I find it rolling over the top I correct it so that when I leave it is correctly rolling off from the bottom. 
Bruce I suffered from the same affliction, well till I my shrink actually showed me the patent diagrams for the toilet paper roller. It goes over the top.
