It is 10K Al, I think it should be 100K. Wishfull thinking on my part.
I remember growing up in a construction family. My brother would bid a job. Naturally he paid workers comp, had liability insurance, all his guys were legal and well trained etc. He would not get the bid. A few months later the lower bidder would start the job. Nobody on the job site spoke english! The building inspectors would be pulling their hair out trying to communicate with them about what was wrong.
Not once did we ever see INS involved and yes we did report it all the time.
The bottom line is we have immigration laws that work. Its all about enforcement of those laws. Kinda like never running radar or stopping speeders on certain streets. Studies show that the absence of enforement will eventually lead to commonplace violations. We all have towns wherever we live where you just know not to speed and other places where we crank it up cause we never see a cop.
Hiring illegals is cranked up like never before because, as you said, nobody checks and if they do they don't enforce the law.
We don't need a new law or new bill. We need to enforce the laws we have.
In the area of these folks flying Mexican flags, that just pisses me off. Fly the stars and stripes and show folks how much you love this country nitwits!
