I just joined this site last year. Never new Friar, but over the long winter I spent a lot of time reading posts learning about my bike and your recommendations. He may be gone, but his passion, humor, and thoughts are woven into the site and reading his posts touches me and all others that come here.
His spirit is here. He still touches people.

I still think of John every time I see a bike, come to the forum, or when Im on the bike. Who knew what a lasting impression that lug would have on so many.
