These are an excellent set of videos comparing 12 LED headlight assemblies. It explains the Lumen rates and shows how some manufacturers are outright lying to the consumers. Shows how the light gets to the road and which ones are the best/worst. Guess which lights are the worst...... the knock offs....go figure! This link is for the first overview video. Really good info. I want to smack the dweeb that put the annoying background music in.
What would have made that review pop would be to have a "down the road at night" view of each light. What really matters is how the thing floods the field of vision at night.
Good post, gonna check out that site.

Oh - update. They DO have a night shot of each light on the 12 shootout vids. Really cool to see the beam pattern before you buy.

Yah, It's really amazing to see what some of those lights can do and what others can't. On the ones that he recommends, it's amazing to see how much light they actually put on the road and shoulders.

I installed a Cyclops H4 base LED bulb in the OEM light & it turned out pretty well... Cyclops H4 LED Bulb

Greg that Vision Vortex would be good for seeing the moose down the road or munching in the ditch with both high and low beams on. Great for day time visibility as well. Only $519 CAD at Amazon.ca

I had to go out and check mine to see. Yes, it lights all of the LEDs when you switch it to high beam.

Just wondering did the cyclops bulb fit straight in or was any modification needed..?

I cut the rubber boot with a razor blade and zip-tied it into position after mounting the bulb; other than that minor mod it was plug and play.

I did have to file one of the tabs on the mount to get it to fit. Not much and it didn't take any time.
