I like these in a 1950s "Flash Gordon"/"Dick Tracy"style.The way I like '50s/60s U.S. cars .I don't think I'd buy one, but I can still admire them.

I like, but not at those prices. $32K wow! I guess I haven't been shopping in a while. I just can't see a scenario where I'd spend that much for a bike.

I looked at the Indian MC website and it says the Springfield bagger starts at $20,999. Where do they get $32 from? Is that Aussie prices?

I'll buy one when they drop the price to $5,000 or less. That is the most I ever spent on a bike.

He is adding accessories. LOL I do like the Indian line, but I just can't figure out what to do with an 800+ pound motorcycle. I guess if I spent my time driving interstates I would feel different. I do like the Springfield package.

I think you're right. I didn't notice.

$20k - not so bad. But I'm still content with what I have.

I like looking at the big Indians, they are beautyful but just to big for my tastes. I WOULD like to own a Scout or the new Victory Octane (Scout based). Anything over 650 Lbs is just to heavy for the kind of riding I do.

Well, you KNOW I'm gonna chime in here somewhere. When the word leaked out that there was gonna be a "Springfield" model, I was hoping it would be something really distinctive instead of just another variation of something Indian already has. It's basically a model between my leather bagged Vintage and the more expensive hardbagger Chief. The only SERIOUS difference is a change in the rake coming off the frame, which will change the handling some. (Hopefully it will be an improvement over the very low speed handling of my Vintage, which is not good.) And yes, these bikes are heavy. It is the only real complaint I have about my Indian and what I miss most about my America, and every other mid sized Triumph I've owned. But 90% of my riding is done on the highway so the weight doesn't come into play much. And, it IS one of the best handling, heavy bikes out there. I still think the America is the best looking, handling and performance cruisers in the middle weight line. BUT, I do enjoy the powerful Indian engine, especially on the rare occasions that I have to pull out a stump in a field or tow a school bus out of a ditch!

Yes that's Aussie Dollars.
An America or Speedmaster over here is about $15,000 Australian .

Indians are beautiful bikes, it I spent lots of time on the slab I'd get one.

Well , was really thinking about the Rocket III for a secure two-up touring until I test road an Indian Roadmaster ..... wasn't sold until I saw the Springfield with the quick release tour pak (trunk)..... The bike out the Door at the Rogers dealership would be about $21K and with the tour pake , and all would be in the $25 -$26 range. This is very competitive and competes with what I was considering on the Rocket III and HD Roadglide. When I get the last one ( boy in college) paid off in July whill start saving for the Springfield for Spring ! The Indians as made by Polaris are an awesome machine.

I would like it with the 2 up comfort package with removable tote on the luggage rack. I like it in Red. It is funny to me that the Springfield is not available in Springfield Blue.

I think you'd maybe have to have them to mention them ?

Here's a little one with a face on it

Yeah, ok. But there would have to be TWO of them. And they'd have to be a LOT bigger!
