I used to do that all the time because I had to. I couldn't afford a car when I was young so I rode my bike year round.

Yep, been there, done that! Luckily, I found the money to fix my old clunker car about halfway through the winter. But it STILL didn't have a heater. Nothing like scraping off the ice on both the outside AND the INSIDE of a windshield while driving down the road. Snowsuit, thick gloves, STILL froze my nuts off! All to go see my girlfriend, who lived 20 miles out in the country. Married her years later. Later, I wished I HAD froze to death.
