Saddleman used to make a great bag. Real buckles and such. Now with those quick connect buckles they SUCK. When overstuffed, you cannot get those useless buckles joined. Unlike the real buckles that have the pulley effect going for them. Jeez. Every time I look at those newer model bags I see one of the ripped off buckle mounting straps, the flopped in outer wall and alas, all the States those bags have traveled through. (Which is the only reason they remain with me). The bags overall are vastly inferior to their circa 2006 counterparts.
Seriously, when throwing a leg over the bike that has the real buckle bags, a huge smile becomes the centerpiece of my countenance, (and a big WHEW!).
