In 2014, my wife and I were traveling when I ran across a Triumph motorcycle. I never really looked at Triumph before, but starting researching them as soon as we got home. After a lot of "googling" I decided to look for a 2007 Speedmaster. It had to be red and black, with low mileage. Found one a few hours away, and convinced my wife I needed to have two bikes. I haven't made many changes to it, other than Cobra pipes, Jetting and a Breathe bellmouth. And floorboards, because my feet need a break from all my running. Probably the most "fun" bike I've owned. Easy to ride, and can't take it out without getting a compliment.

Nice bike, but Cobra pipes? First I have heard of those for these bikes...
2006 865 Neon Blue/Jet Black Speedmaster,790cams, TTP Stage 2 Firestarter, Epco Exhaust with 10.25" Samson Vrod baffles, UNI pods with 40 pilots, 150 mains,Thruxton needles, 3 turns out.

I couldn't find any that I was happy with, and have those on the other bikes. Just had to make a simple bracket, and $250 for new exhaust that sounds good was hard to beat.

Mike could you post a detail photo of the bracket you are speaking of and which slip on did you use?

They're Cobra 6020 slip on's made for Harley Touring. I paid $250 on sale, They're pretty close to that now.

I used two pieces of metal, about 1.5 x7.5 inches, and mounted them to the rear exhaust bracket and hole for center stand. used a few washers to make everything line up. Took about 10 minutes for the brackets, and I haven't had any issues with them. I'll try and post a pic, if I can figure out how.

Great info! Thanks for sharing. It seems our aftermarket exhaust options are dwindling. This is a great alternative.

Your bike looks great, I like the side mounted plate. My Navy Son has a Vulcan that's all black.
