Dave gave me a heads up on fb that some of you were asking about me. I assure you I am fine and all is well. But let me tell you a bit about what's been going on...

Well I totally gutted the main floor of my house right down to the studs. I changed the floor plan then put it all back together again.

I helped form a band and that takes up vast amounts of time as we practice and do the odd gig.

I'm in a wonderful relationship now with the woman I divorced in 1980. After all these years we discovered we actually like each other and carefully opened our hearts to each other again. It's a beautiful story. She (Anne-Marie) has a very serious heart condition and faced life threatening surgery last fall. After being under the knife for 8 hours she survived and thankfully the surgery was 100% successful. Although she is still recovering, it is obvious her quality of life is back and she's on her way to leading a normal healthy life. The fact is, we almost lost her last summer so that's been the main thing occupying my head, heart and hands the last while.

My Mom passed away last fall. That was a huge blow which put me in a state of mourning and contemplation for quite a while. I find comfort in knowing she no longer suffers.

So between caring for Anne-Marie, renovating, playing music and all the other life stuff I'm busy. Of course I still ride and still have my Triumph. Mind you I didn't ride much last summer due to Anne-Marie's health issues but I expect we'll get out much more this year. It's all good.

Thank you everyone for caring... it means a lot. Meanwhile, I'm not sure I'll be around here much but we'll see. I have to renovate Anne-Marie's house now so we can put it up for sale. No rest for the wicked as they say.

Live to love, love to live.
