Santa brought me a Bad Boy horn for Christmas , it's similar to stabal type . Question is, does anybody else have this horn and if so where did you mount it and how? Or even any horn like this? I can't seem to find a spot for it, our bike are so tight everywhere. if anyone has done this, pics would be much appreciated . Thanks in advance

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

I mounted mine under my seat where the air box used to be. Some have split the horn and compressor apart and mounted the horn up front and compressor elsewhere.

I have a Stebel right where the stock horn was. It will fit there nicely and yes, it's above the oil cooler airflow.

Me too. Works well in this location. Relay under the seat.

Let us know how it turns out Newt. I am looking at something like that for my bike also. Pics would be nice.

If you have engine guards, the larger horn won't fit on the OEM bracket. There is a bolt that holds the brake reservoir bracket on the frame down tube. That is the place to mount it. Out of the way and out there enough to be heard. Will get a pic tomorrow.

A few folks make those Stebel type horns, Fast Eddy has one or two on his site, Brent has them as well. They are about the size of your two fists put together, reason is they have a wee air compressor inside and a dual tone horn. The two tones combined make people see it with their ears.
When I wired up mine, it was a chore, you use your existing horn circuit and run that to a 30A relay and then to the horn. It will come with a wiring kit or sold extra. It will bracket right up to the factory spot, but my engine guards conflicted so I moved it down to the brake reservoir bracket.
It's loud. If you have a relay and some decent gauge wire you can add another horn to the mix and make an annoying cacophony.

Just tossed the Stebel and replaced it with a Wolo Bad Boy. I thought the other was loud, but DANGGIT this thang be like obnoxious loud ! Sheeite !
Fabbed me up an aluminum alloy "L" bracket and mounted it on the bolt hole that holds the brake reservoir. Engine guards will not allow it to mount in the stock locale.

Get one. Awesome.
