Arrived back home in San Diego last night from Columbia in S.C. Had a job interview for a Machinist/Mechanic position at the VC Summer Nuke Plant and it went well, hopefully i'll get hired. The company picked up the whole cost of the 3 day trip, flight, hotel and car rental all paid for so it made me feel quite special.
I have 5 friends working there who i'd worked with for over 25 years at the San Onofre nuke plant in So. Cali. Spent a few hours at a real estate office on the last day to get a feel for the area. Still not sold my house yet but may rent it out if i get a job. Two brand new plants are being built there and it will be mid 2019 when the first one comes online. While there i was wondering who's around the area of Columbia/Irmo. Des
