While we are on this topic. When I got my bike in September the guy gave me some chain lube. Looks like he sprayed it down and it just sat. I was going to just take the chain off and drop it in a can of Kerosene and brush it down. (Like I did in the old days) If it is sealed and I am only concerned with cleaning the outside an putting some fresh chain lube on I should be fine. Right? It just looks nasty at the moment. The old lube is caked on it.
