And another thing, look how DISTINCTIVE this bike looks, compared to a lot of the same ole, same ole styling available form the Jap companies. This thing SCREAMS Classic Triumph!

And one more thing, a small nitpicky thing, what the hades are those dorky looking, out of place reflectors doing stuck on the front and the rear fender? I'd have to lose those! Even so, a beautiful machine!

Awesome, I'm a lifelong resident. Yeah guys, I couldn't believe how clean it was either. I drove 2.5 hours one way just to check it out. Got it off of this old guy who had 8 Harleys in his garage, 3 of which were shovelheads as well as a 38 knucklehead chopper. He had one wall of his garage set up with peg board and hooks all filled up with vintage Harley parts still in the bags. He told me that he had taken it in on trade for some work and wanted to get rid of it to clear some space. I got a heck of a deal on it. I do have some ideas for what I want to do with it. I'm leaning towards a Scrambler/tracker look but I will keep all of the original parts so I can put it back.

Needs picket fence tank badges, other than that, I wouldn't touch a thing.

Yeah yeah, sure Ryk, until after awhile you say, "Well...., maybe if I just changed the mirrors...."A touring seat maybe" and it begins
It does look good as is IMO.Maybe change the badges as you say

Yep, and gaiters. A retro-style Britbike HAS to have gaiters on them there front forks, ya know...'specially if'n then there fronts are all black like this one's and not polished/chromed. Yep, gotta have them there gaiters on it too!
(...and besides the fact that those babies will help protect the bare fork legs from gettin' dings on 'em from road debris, which'll contribute to unwanted fork stiction)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Yep! Gaiters would be a beautiful touch! Personally I'd keep it looking 1970s as it is.I wouldn't change anything except for what's been said here.Badges gaiters, etc.
