My wife and I spent our 10th anniversary at the North Rim, and it's a beautiful place. However, if you want to ride a bit, it's not exactly ideal. There's basically just one road in and one road out from Jacob's Lake.

I would think the Prescott area would be ideal. It's more centrally located in Arizona, about 2,000ft lower in elevation which would make it ideal for late spring and early fall, and there's plenty of twisty roads with scenic views, We could buzz over to Sedona, or go on that ride we did last year out to Kirkland Jct. It's 250 miles from Las Vegas to Prescott, which is about the same distance from Tucson, so this makes it a nice easy day ride for everybody....unless your Bud in Albuqurque. Even for him it's 415 miles to Prescott, not bad. From Los Angeles it's 379 miles, so anybody in Socal could also get there in a day.

What do you think?

Hmmm...who do we know in Prescott?
