Reading the news every morning is something I now dread. The focus is so much on sensationalism and the need to shock, plus the fact that there is more and more offerings on that matter, I feel terrible after reading the news. It's hard to find news about good stuff lately. Anyway, needed to clear my head, and since the weather was cooperating, I decided to go outside. I usually go surfing, or ride around. No waves around my place today, so, a ride. Felt much better after. After surfing, riding my Triumph is the next best thing to calm me down and feel happy to be alive and well. It sounds selfish, but it's not... well, not just selfish anyway. "Cos after riding and feeling blissful, I try to spread that happiness around, and it's contagious! Hope I can share some of it with you. Have a nice day.

Yupp, life is brief. Make me think on a few lines from a few romantics: "....out, out brief candle......" "....so dawn goes down today, nothing gold can stay....." ".....gather ye rosebuds while ye may....." ".....rage, rage against the dying of the light....." ".....thunder through canyons wet with the pristine dew of promise..." there is just as much good news out there as is it's nefarious opposite, fact is good news just doesn't profit much.
Carpe diem. Carpe noctem. Carpe vitas et lumen. I'm riding this morning to a Patriot Guard service for a 19 YO Army girl . Her little dog ran out in traffic and as she ran out to catch it, she was hit by a car and killed instantly.
'ever take a damp bathcloth or towel and twist that thing to wring every last drop of water out of it? that's the way we should do with every day, twist that thing 'til we get every drop of life out of it.

Yesterday afternoon was a gift from God in Central Indiana to get out and enjoy one last ride before winter places its cold fingers on the land. All I could do was give thanks and go ride.

And it's GREEN ! I just bought a green one last week. It's an '05 and looks just like that U- Boat you're about to launch.

Make every day count. Went to the PGR mission today, out of about 12 total, four of us were on each corner of the hearse, I was on the seven o'clock corner and had to stare at that flag draped casket with a precious and brave American inside. She probably thought about kids and grandkids and old age and never thought that at nineteen she would leave this world in less than one second.

I had a good ride yesterday too. First one for quite awhile. I did a trip to a little town near my place.Came back and I hadn't had enough, so went to another town in the opposite direction. Friday,I plan to do my "feeinn'groovy" ride and meet some mates for coffee at our favourite cafe about 70ks away over the mountains. As you said Wade, make 'em all count. We're coming into summer here too.

This weekend gone is a long weekend for me, is every year,I usually go away riding with some workmates. But this year the little lady (who never gets this longweekend, but did this time) batted her baby blues and said why can't you and I go?....alone...hmm. So after three days in perfect sunshine, spring doing its very best and a thousand kilometers through the Victorian high country with my best friend....well I gotta tell you I'm feeling pretty good To wade..very sorry to here about the young girl.

Wow, Ottawa changed since I've been there last. Beach and palm trees? Cool!

SB Miami, Oh yah and its alot like skiing move the handle and drive the knees and these things can slolam like a pair of parabolic skis. The guide gave me shiite for wearing out the tires. I want one so I can be the excentric old guy buzzing around the market doing circles on the spot before taking off in an accute direction. they are worth a go for a couple hours.

This was the original water cooled prototype. As u can imagine, the idea sank like a lead balloon. You know, JESUS walked on water. But if He had a Triumph, I bet there would be a monster rooster tail. Every day is a gift from GOD. I just updated my preferences to hopefully show my email. That poor young girl made me think to tell u if any one is down and out, cuz this is the toughest time of year for many (divorce for myself), you can email me and I will do what I can to help spiritually if it is just by listening. Happy Thanksgiving and GOD bless u all.
